Upcoming Groups and Workshops

Mindfulness meditation can offer the body and mind a chance to settle. Through our practice together, we begin to create the conditions for ease, steadiness, and compassion to grow in our lives. Whether you are a long-time practitioner or want to try meditation for the first time, I aim to make my groups accessible for all.

I provide brief informational calls to share more about groups and answer any questions you have. Please email me at to schedule a call.

Mindfulness Groups

Practicing with others can help us deepen our individual practice. There is so much skill and wisdom inside of groups. So much we can learn in relationship to each other. Beautiful and challenging moments happen in groups and individual sessions with a teacher. I offer these groups to pass along the teachings I have learned that show me how to meet the current moment with creativity, steadiness, and love.

An Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation - A Four Week Beginner Group

May 2 - 23, 2024

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Dickinson Memorial Library | Northfield, MA

Are you curious about mindfulness meditation but need help figuring out where to begin? Do you have a practice and want to meet others interested in creating a mindfulness community? Join me for for an introductory series to talk about the benefits of mindfulness and meditation and learn sitting and walking meditations with short guided practices. This group will share ideas for practicing at home each week, and include questions for reflection. Each week there will be time to ask questions and share insights, as well as time to be in breakout rooms sharing, reflecting and learning from each other in smaller groups.

Whether you are new to meditation or looking to deepen or return to your practice, we hope you will join us.

Mindfulness Book & Practice Group

A Six-week Workshop

Wednesdays, April 24 - May 29

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Based on Tara Brach’s book True Refuge, this group will include meditation time and weekly explorations and conversations from Tara’s book. A copy of this book for our group is helpful but unnecessary. Jeannette will guide from the book and offer handouts for anyone who doesn’t have the book as needed.

Weekly Mindfulness Group

Sliding Scale Fee ($10-$30)

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Our weekly sessions include time for practice, guidance, connecting and exploring in community through sharing and Q&A, and ideas on how to bring our practice into daily life. This ongoing group is always open to newcomers and you may join anytime.

Mindful Writing Groups

Both writing and meditation increase our capacity to notice things we might otherwise speed by. Writing and mindfulness can complement each other, bringing out different aspects of practice. I support people to create space for deep listening so we can begin to hold ourselves and our stories with kindness and settle more fully into our lives.

Opening Into Creativity

Monday, April 1, 2024

10:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST

You don't need to consider yourself a writer or a meditator to attend! Mindful writing groups offer short guided meditations followed by time to write. Creative prompts are provided. Bring a pen and a journal and your curiosity.

Mentor groups differ from mindfulness practice groups, giving more time to discussions focusing on challenges and insights from practice. So, while we will do a short practice to settle into our time together, the group is not a practice group. It is a group aimed at supporting an ongoing practice.

The members of the group, or individuals in 1:1 sessions, shape the group's direction by bringing what is most relevant to our time together. I share resources, prompts, and guide reflections to use between our sessions.

Mentoring offers more time to talk about our meditation practice, to ask questions and get support from each other and from a mentor.

I offer free 20-minute consultations for individual and group mentoring. Please reach out to me at to schedule a time to chat.
